  2. Hi Giles.

I recently purchased a Holytrainer on your recommendation and it's great. However, I would like to try a smaller base ring (the 36mm) but uberkinky don't stock that size. Do you know of any other UK based intermediaries who sell the holytrainer? I'd like to avoid paying customs charges.

    Thanks!

    1. No, I am afraid not. However HT customer service are really response, or so I find. Why not just email them and ask? Have you asked Uberkinky to stock it for you?

  3. Hello, Can't remember If I have written to you earlier. I have started to read your books and find them very interesting. I'm in a vanilla relationship and trying se if my woman kan start being interested in being more dominant.

My thought, wish was a tip form another blogger, was to do this with small steps. I'm writing a blog about serving my woman, what's your thought on this approach?

    1. It depends on the relationship! Sometimes small steps are actually irritating for the partner. The most important thing is to focus on what's in it for her.

Nice blog - I shall read it at leisure later. :)

    1. OMG! Lady Fox I just clicked through and saw who you are. If you had asked, I would have supplied a free review copy. If you want ANY of my stuff please just ask.

(And if you could say what you said in a review on Amazon or wherever you purchased my book...)

  5. Giles,

I just wanted to take a minute to thank you. I found your blog yesterday, and it has revolutionized my thinking and cleared up a lot of muddled thoughts I've been having.

Last week (after me opening up to her about some desires I've had for years) my wife and I decided to try a FLM. This past week has caused me to read and read other men's accounts on their D/s relationship but the level of their relationship seems far too much for my wife and I at this time. Your blog is simply the absolute best thing I've read on the subject. Your life sounds so amazing, and is something that I aspire to emulate.

The reason I connected with your blog is because my wife is very vanilla, and has a much lower sex drive than me. She has told me on several occasions that she doesn't want to be a leather clad dominatrix, and finds the BDSM scene off-putting. This was initially a disappointment to me because I want nothing more than to worship and serve her in whatever way she desires.

You've encapsulated that in your blog perfectly, and while it may take me and my wife some time to develop our own FLM contract and get to where you and Xena are it is so encouraging to see that it is a very real possibility.

    Thank you.

  6. I'm a regular reader and big fan of your blog. My wife and I are a little behind you, but we've begun to discuss FLR and I'm cautiously optimistic that we may follow your path. Thanks for your insights.

  7. I purchased a copy of one of your early versions of "Vanilla Dominatrix". It was several years ago and I downloaded it and printed out.

From time to time I've tried to read it but, honestly, I have gotten really stuck on the whole 'Send-Receive' concept. I do like the idea of appealing to my wife's personality and I want to try to understand your approach.

I'm wondering if others have had this difficulty and if you can offer a more simple explanation on how to develop those tables.

    Thanks.

    1. Thanks for your comment! Your feedback is similar to what I originally received. If you delete the document from your device, you can download a much newer edition which reflects your issues.

  8. Thank you for all of this content, not only the fiction and non-fiction ebooks, but also this blog. At the very least it is giving me reminders and pointers to where I might be going right and wrong. (there are lots of times where I have tried to figure out where things might be appealing to her and minimize the amount of work she needs to accommodate my kink, but I probably haven't analyzed it into specific personality types or modes. Even so, I do occasionally slip and get caught up in my fantasies in ways that she isn't comfortable with. I probably also spend too much time in the "give it away for free" scenario that she can pretend is doting, not subservient) I can imagine a guide like the "How to be a Roman Dominatrix" might be helpful. Especially in the way your description winds up being a neutral third party describing the benefits for her. (No matter what, identical suggestions coming from me it will be viewed with some suspicion.) It might be a slightly different metaphor will be needed though (Growing up Jewish, my wife wasn't raised seeing ancient Romans as glorious, powerful people. People who could be deliciously selfish in the ease society bestows them. She probably sees them more as the evil conquering forces that destroyed many societies and the ones that survived were permanently damaged) The idea of a metaphor that allows her to be strong, powerful and capricious; the idea of small "trips" seems like its appealing. I think I just need to find a slightly different model.

    1. Damn! I just assumed the Romans came without cultural baggage! You might find some useful mainstream SF&F jumping off points here https://femledfantasy.home.blog/

Thanks for your encouraging words! Please let me know how things turn out. Good luck
