Male chastity has a lot to offer the mainstream (article here), but can't really become mainstream until male chastity devices actually work as male chastity devices!

At the moment, unless you have a piercing, the chastity device only really stays on because it creates a self-amplifying submissive feedback loop. You can also easily defeat it using a vibrator.

People have tried lots of different designs, but none of them really prevent pullout while soft. Nor do any of them stop the wearer getting off by using a vibrator.

So we need something different.

How about, instead of prevention, working on deterrence?

Here's where a digital device would fix everything. I've called it the DickBit and I should be very surprised if nobody was working on won. (Please feel free to use this name if you are, but I'd love a review copy.)

The DickBit is a small digital device resembling a FitBit. It locks onto male chastity devices or is integrated with them. Depending on the model, it connects to other digital devices via mUSB, Bluetooth and WiFi.

The basic DickBit has the following:

• Pulse Monitor - Detects pull out.
• Vibration Monitor - Detects use of a vibrator.
• Audio Alarm - Can be configured so that the monitors set it of. Various options include socially embarrassing messages or mood killing jingles. Only times out after an hour or so.
• Visual Telltale - Triggered by the detectors. Red light winks until reset by keyholder.
• Upload information to other devices for the keyholder.

This would meet the key requirements of all the typical vanilla uses for male chastity. The possibility of embarrassment would... encourage impulse control, so the device would work in the bedroom as a couple toy and also to prevent infidelity and private masturbation.

The upload feature would keep the key holder informed, making them feel reassured - if that's what they need - and acting as another layer of deterrent.

The Delux DickBit Chastity Enforcer

As an erotic novelist, I can think of some nice features I would add to a delux version:

• Erection Monitor - Detects how hard you are. Possibly this could also detect ejaculation.
• Settable Time Lock - This need not be a physical locking device; it could simply prevent the security features from deactivating. Obviously, there'd be an option to have erections set back the release time.
• Micro Electric Shocker: Apparently this is now technically feasible. It could be set up so that the monitors trigger it.
• Ink Bomb: A smaller version of what they use in retail. Pull-out triggers this one-use device, which sprays non-toxic indelible ink all over the wearer. If it could work reliably - false positives would be a problem! - then this would be very popular with self bondage enthusiasts, since for most practical purposes, they really would be stuck in their device until unlocked.

When is the DickBit Chastity Enforcer going to come?

It's feasible right now! The basic version would use components that already exist. 

It would still cost money to develop, though. So we have to wait until somebody thinks its worthwhile. Perhaps it'll be crowd funded like the Ambrosia Vibe ("world's first bionic strap-on that vibrates when touched").

Three reasons why ball gripping chastity devices are inescapable (even though they're not)

When I first got into male chastity, I was obsessed with making devices escape-proof.

Neither the old Chinese chastity device
 nor the lovely new Holy Trainer 2
are secure

Rather than be an early adopter of the CB2000, for example, I built a series of DIY chastity belts. The last one was inescapable... unless you had a pair of scissors handy. However, none of them were practical for 24/7 wear, so when cheap Chinese chastity devices came along, I spent a few tenners and bought one. A year or so later I upgraded to a Holy Trainer 2, and since then I haven't looked back (or had an orgasm!) since.

Neither the old Chinese chastity device nor the lovely new Holy Trainer 2 are secure.

How could they be? Balls are stretchy! Even so, I am psychologically incapable of cheating by pulling out.

I don't think it's raw willpower because the urge to is hardwired. If will were involved, it would be in the opposite direction; we'd shake off our kinks and get our rocks off.

Instead, here's what I think is happening.

1. The tail is wagging the dog! In human males, an erect penis is a sign of dominance. Not being able to get erect makes us more submissive... too submissive to remove the device preventing us from getting erect as long as somebody else wants it there.
2. Masturbation is lonely! Ultimately, there's something soul destroying about spending years jerking off to submissive fantasies. As soon as somebody actually wants you locked into a chastity device you suddenly have the choice between being a sad failure jerking off in the cold, or a possessed slave living out your submissive destiny.
3. Rewired brain! This one is a bit sinister, and thus a turn on to think about. If you're locked into a chastity device then the only release you get is when you're really, really turned on and start to leak. This tends to happen when you give your mistress an orgasm. After a while -- the human brain being essentially stupid -- you become conditioned to associate being turned on with going down on your mistress, rather than with jerking off or having sex.

So it's a submission feedback loop, it's a fear of loneliness, it's conditioning...

There's a common factor in all of these; having a mistress who actively wants you to be chaste.

Threw out my old DIY chastity belt

CB anti-pullout using pubic hair and surgical tape 36 hour update

Well that's my pubic hair and surgical tape system tested for 36 hours including two nights and two showers.

So far, there's been no discomfort. The tether seems to have stretched a little but not come away. (When showering, it's important not to strain the tether and to give it time to dry afterwards.)

How secure is this piercing-free anti-pullout solution?

Of course no chastity device is secure. There ought to be some sort of scale! 

On its own my device is secure when I am hard. With the tape and washer system, I cannot pull out without cutting or breaking the tether. Tools - scissors - are required.

This means pulling out:

• Requires a sustained conscious act.
• Might be noticed, or wake a sleeping mistress.
• Would be obvious from inspection.

This is different to a piercing only in degree, and has the advantage that you can remove it without trace.

Would it work for long term or permanent male chastity?

The surgical tape has the advantage that it is easily removable. However, for  a longer lockup I will use rubber solution glue and some sort of gauze. 

How long would that last?

Google tells me that human hair can last at least a year, perhaps longer. In an ideal world, as the tether hairs fell out, new ones would grow, so one would simply create a new dreadlock when the time came.

This need not entail removing the device. The initial dreadlock could be extremely extended, making it easy to thread through and attack before snipping.

UPDATE: I used this from Sunday evening through to Thursday afternoon. On unlocking, the tether was still sound, the pubic hair still in place. However, the tape had slid down the length of the hair somewhat, thus stretching the tether. Better tape, I think, would do the trick.

I've done my first overnight test of the anti pullout system:

I substituted a small washer for the cable tie, and used surgical tape instead of glue. This had the advantage that I could extend the "dreadlock" and secure it to the washer such that the hair wasn't under tension.

The effect is interesting and discrete: you can't actually see the tether without looking very closely. The pubic hair simply vanishes into the base ring. The penis feels stuck - it just won't come out.

I installed this 9 pm last night, and wore it overnight. It survived some quite intense arousal. We've yet to see how it does in the shower...

How to make your CB 100% secure without piercings or spikes!

Here's my cheap security fix for ball gripping male chastity belts:

Go to updated version.

It's really not that complicated! Surgical tape works well for short lock-ups because the base ring protects it from interference, but once the CB is removed, a good soak in the bath and a fingernails unwind it without losing pubic hair. Rubber solution glues like "Copydex" are more waterproof but check for skin sensitivity first.

I haven't yet endurance tested this see what happened when I did. The pubic hair shouldn't be taut, so is unlikely simply to come out over a day or so. The idea is that when the device is in place properly, there's no pressure on the tether.
