We're coming up to two years of the Custom Chastity Saint.

It's transformed our already kinky relationship.

I just completed nearly five and a half months of 24/7 chastity in my Custom Chastity "Saint".

Here's what didn't happen:

• I didn't develop chafing or an infection and have to beg the key back.
• I didn't need to unlock to socialise or do sport.
• I didn't soldier on stoically suffering chafing and infections and quietly missing out on socialising  occasions and sport.
• During intimate time and discipline, I didn't need to ask to pause to adjusted a heavy cage, or un-turtle myself. 

This is a million miles from the experience of metal cages and standard sized tubes!

Obviously,  the Saint is much more physically pleasant to wear. It's either a sensual presence or no presence at all. However, it's the psychological and relationship effects that are truly stunning.

Psychologically, I know there will be no practical reason to remove the device. If Xena wasn't paranoid about visibility through swimwear, I could potentially stay locked for years on end. As it is, she once left me sealed in for 11 months.  The result is a delicious blend of security - locked means locked - and fear - she could do this to me forever.

Relationship-wise, it means Xena can control my chastity on whim. There's no emotional labour of second guessing me, no need to get into a more responsible head space to forward plan. 21 Days Locked in the new and very sinister Custom Chastity Saint

I'm on Day 21 of lockup in the sinister Saint device that Custom Chastity sent me to review.

I've had one, one hour break near the start so I could do wearing/not wearing photos. Otherwise it's stayed on continuously, including for showers and running.

And, it looks like I'm stuck until this time next week, at least. Here's why:

Rewind to roughly a week ago...

"I'm really angry," blazes my wife Xena.  "Ten days angry."

She is angry. I managed to scrape our car. This is a genuine punishment.

"What?" I blurt. Ten days means two more weeks, on top of the first two she settled on to review this new device.

This gets me hard but not erect - the device makes its presence felt.  At the same time it really feels like too much time without an orgasm.

"Locked," she says firmly.

 "Yes mistress."

The locked part is new.

A few days previously, when I was making my nightly report I said, "No problems with the new device. It's so wearable it's sinister."

Nothing changed.
Everything changed.

It now appears that it was only the fear of consequences and dislike of fuss that put the brakes on Xena's tendency to keep me locked.

This new, sinister, male chastity device seem to have taken off those brakes. And, me being locked makes Xena more casually dominant, which creates a feedback loop.

So what can I say about the device itself?

It's so very sinister that there isn't much.

Yes, I'm aware of it from time to time, but it feels more like a matter-of-fact well-designed surgical appliance than a bondage toy.

Though I could pull out the back, I wouldn't want to cum that way. I know from previous experience that I'd end up stretching and chafing the skin of my dick such that I'd need a break from the device, which Xena would know about. Though I could cum without pulling out, I also know that the snug fit would make it literally a bruising experience that would probably have me up and down at night peeing, which Xena would notice. So though I am not minded to cheat, I am also aware that it would be a bad idea.

The round, narrow, base ring means I can close my legs and sleep on my side at night. Compared to a grippy collar ring, it's slightly more likely to slip if I overdo the lotion. However, the narrowness ensures everything lies naturally, meaning no issues of comfort or concealment.

The open cage with paper clip end means I'm so well ventilated I even managed to drip dry one night without a hair dryer. There's never any itching, and it's easy to inspect the skin to check everything is OK.

Compared to a tube design, the penis is much more exposed to stimulation. However, that accessibility means that it's easy to realign the head on those rare occasions when it has turtled or squirmed out of position. When I unzip to pee, I'm already properly aligned nine times out of ten.

The two downsides are (i) that the shape of the paperclip head is visible through thin underpants, if you look for it, and (ii) the paperclip can catch on the waistband of underpants if you remove them with too much gusto.

My experience of the Custom Chastity Saint is quite different. Basically I put it on and wore it. I did sport, work meetings, the pub... all with total confidence.

UPDATE: Ended up going 30 days with no showstopping problems.

UPDATE AUGUST 2019: Summer was less kind to the device. The warmer weather made everything swell a little. The gap I'd picked was too tight, and caused chafing in the angle between cock and balls. Also, any kind of turtling now resulted in my cock catching on the underside of the "C" ring, so getting stuck in the barrel, which required manual intervention. Finally, the device wasn't quite like being naked - it still required vigilance to prevent the build up of dry skin, and to stop the "B" ring area getting damp.

The first issue was my fault, and easily resolved. The remaining issues were common to most chastity devices and I thought nothing of them until I devised a fix. I wrote about the resulting custom device here.

And this one really does surpass everything I've worn, with a couple of caveats because it really is a cage, and a minimalist one at that.

As you can see from their sales pitch on social media, it's really designed for maximum teasing potential rather than security. There's a lot of exposed flesh! (For pics, see below the cut).

I'm not sure I'd want to have an orgasm while wearing it though!

When I experimented with pulling out with a previous model, getting hard and jerking off stretched the skin and caused very nasty chafing. I also know what getting off while actually locked hurts and is likely to leave my cock puffy and bruised, and irritate my urethra enough to have me peeing more frequently for a day or so.

Wearing

All the more reason for the wearer to resist teasing, if that's what's on the menu. It's also a sort of security - a well-fitted device makes your dick "cheating evident" which is as good as it gets without a piercing.

Teasing is certainly not on Xena's menu. In fact I think from her point of view, the new device shows off rather too much dick. However, the compensation is the practicality.

Not wearing

For a start, it really is a cage, rather than a tube with vents.  That means sweat vents easily, dead skin doesn't accumalate, and it's really easy to wash and dry; there appear to be no dead zones.

The startlingly minimalist head section, almost like a big bent paperclip, makes it really easy to adjust the position of your dick (though it's not so gappy that I could squeeze my head out).

I find I'm mostly lined up to pee when I down-zip, but if I'm not, then it's easy to align properly. Similarly, if I'm stuck in the barrel due to night turtling, it's a simple matter to poke a finger in and retrieve the errant member. Oh, and of course, there's nowhere for pee to collect.

(I suspect that the easy access would benefit an "uncut" wearer, i.e. one with an intact foreskin, making it simple to retract and clean and so on.)

Finally, it's even lighter than the other Custom Chastity devices I've worn. I found that my first surgical nylon device weighed less than its padlocks. This one, having even less fabric, weighs even less. I am barely aware it's there.

Then we come to the specific options I picked, namely a single thickness base ring and magic locker (which I expect will be standard with this model), and the material.

You'll see from the profile picture above that the pubic bulge is about the same whether or not I'm wearing!

The funny thing about being straight male chastity fetishist is that you have no idea of what a male groin should look like. As you can see from my pictures, there is always a pronounced bulge as seen from the side. This chastity device lies naturally enough to not make it significantly more pronounced.

The low profile is partly down to the magic locker, but also because of the single-thickness ring. There's a pay-off here between grip on the one hand, and hygiene and low profile. I think the single ring is more likely to shift than the double, but it's easier to clean and less obtrusive.

The material, as always, is surgical nylon with an eggshell finish. I've never had a problem with it, and find the texture makes it less sticky when my head presses against it. It's also pretty much indestructible unless somebody takes a cutter to it. This is about what you'd want for 24/7 wear... just in case you end up in an ambulance.

Designing (and Wearing) the Perfect Snug Male Chastity Device: the Details

The first attempt at a truly snug device didn't work out. However, the second one has worked out so well that I can't show you a picture of it on its own - I haven't removed it since it arrived ten days ago!

And yes, I really mean 24/7. No breaks for showering or exercise. I've been wearing it so long that that it's hard to remember being without it.

And the Custom Chastity "Ghost" still feels like a miracle.

When I - we - first got into chastity, a couple of days in a Chinese device was an achievement. I remember, more bloody minded than erotic, coaxing the package - steel and flesh - through a whole week with the help of anti-chafing cream and spray on skin, God help me.

The Holy Trainer 2 was a heck of an improvement. However, being a closed tube design it wasn't really any good for more than 48 hours. Sure there were ways of showering and drying, but usually when I unlocked there was bad chafing or a suspicious rash.

The Ghost, in contrast, is so practical that I once wore it for a week straight without really realising.

I've already talked about the upsides: It's surgical nylon, weighs nothing much, is almost indestructible,  fine for showering and drying in, and invisible under clothes. It stays put - I can do naked star jumps in mine, and the lack of a rear projection means it doesn't lever itself off when I change from, say, kneeling to standing. I've worn it comfortably and invisibly for sport and socialising, even to the pub.

The downsides are mostly just things you have to bear in mind.

For a start, you have to keep an eye on your skin health - this is probably true of all devices. You have to keep your caged parts clean and dry, shower nightly, use a hairdryer to dry, and above all avoid the build up of sweat and dead skin. (Though don't use lots of lotion either.)

"Careful what you wish for!"

If you do chafe, you can treat it with Sudocrem, and the problem generally goes away - unless you've cocked up on the measurement, that is.

Because, the material and the design are very unforgiving.

If you get the wrong gap, you will chafe.

If you get the wrong length, it will be hard to pee without making a mess, and the result will irritate your skin.

And if you get the fit wrong, then the extra movement will make the gripping eggshell texture feel more like sandpaper. (Some people hate the texture too, so if you are uber sensitive this may not be for you).

That means you have to measure carefully before buying one of their off-the-shelf devices. It's also an argument for going for true custom, like the one I cheekily secured as a review copy.

The snag with the custom devices is that they are underpriced and there's only one Lady Fox!

As I understand it, she contracts out the manufacturer to a specialist in medical appliances, but does all the design and admin herself and the whole business presumably grinds to a halt if she catches flu, or gets caught by a life event. No surprise then that there are complaints on the various forums about slow or poor communication.

She's just not Amazon! (Though you can imagine her as an Amazon if you want...)

Personally, I don't think she's worse than any of the other small manufacturers. Holy Trainer, for example, take a while to answer emails, and even longer to sort out issues.

My prediction is that she'll bump up the prices until the workload is manageable.

So if you are considering ordering a Custom Chastity device, you'll need to balance budget against your desire for responsive customer service. If you wait until everybody's singing her praises, you may not be able to afford one of her devices.

In the meantime, I'm very happy with mine. We've become almost inseparable. Xena - my wife, not the TV Amazon - is also happy. She just likes having me locked. However, that's another blog entry.

Four more days in my Custom Chastity customized Ghost

I seem to have slipped into another chastity "marathon". Or perhaps this is business as usual now... we'll see.

A few months ago, we established a routine. Every night, I'm not allowed to leave my corner until Xena has handed out demerits and penalty days. This means I'm not put in the "meta" position of nagging her for discipline.

Now we've proven I can wear my new chastity device 24/7, we've added another item to the check list: tomorrow's "locked" status. Last night Xena came in from a girl's night out and fell asleep almost instantly, so I remained locked by default.

So that's four nights and as many days (counting today). I've jogged and showered, gone shopping and socialised as normal. I even used the urinal in a coffee shop - it's safe enough if there's nobody to see when you get lined up, and if you use one corner.

I started my last marathon with an abrasion that then refused to fully heal while wearing 24/7 - the contact kept disrupting the scab.

This time, I went in with healthy skin and fine after four days. The only issue I did have was when the scrotum in contact with the underside of the tube got a bit pink and raw looking - the effect of skipping a shower. When I did shower and dry properly, the problem went away. So the rule is, keep clean!

The Ghost stays put and doesn't shift around. There's also no problem with morning wood - actually I've been wearing every night for over a month and had no problem with it. Peeing is easy as long as I take a moment to get lined up. The device is invisible under my clothes, especially using the cable tie so there's no padlock bump. It's also supremely light; an exoskeleton rather than a second skin.

Guest Post: 5 Weeks (!) in the standard Custom Chastity Ghost (with pictures!)

I'm 45 minutes away from passing the 10 day mark and I've stopped being aware of this chastity device as a separate thing. It really does feel as if it's grown on me... or even out of me like hair or nails or a freaky alien exoskeleton.

I've had it just over ten days, worn it for ten nights, and this Custom Chastity Ghost device feels like part of my body.

Partly that's because I've been sealed into it since Sunday night ten days ago!

I'm now happily on day five of 24/7 chastity lock-up! Xena seems surprisingly into this - but that's for another blog entry; I'll try to keep this one nuts and bolts...

It's a custom device and - I received it in return for an honest review - the order process was both pleasant and intriguing. We went through two prototypes, and a couple of animations before we ended up with my very own custom-fitted chastity device.

Any well-made custom chastity is going to be an improvement on an off-the peg one! This device fits perfectly, lies naturally and invisibly... I can move in it, pee in it, the one thing I can't do is get a proper erection. When I do get hard, the precise fit creates a uniquely intimate violation of my manhood. So, I can't imagine going back to my Holy Trainer 2.

Update on Custom 3D Printed device 3 - achievement unlocked

That's seven nights in my Custom Chastity customised "Ghost", and I'm 2 nights into 24/7 chastity. In that time I have:

• Jogged twice
• Socialised
• Showered
• Slept
• Worn continuously for 36 hours

The cage format means showering and drying is no problem. The only difference from unlocked is needing a quick blow with the hairdriar.
Using a cable tie instead of the padlock makes the device very unobtrusive under clothes. Unlike the Holy Trainer 2, there's no rear beak, so the locking post is snug up against your pubis. Better yet, it doesn't weigh anything. It really is like a second skin.
The eggshell smooth surgical nylon seems to clean fine and requires no lubricant of any kind, making it very hygenic.
The slight abrasion of the scrotum caused by trying the too-small ring seems to have healed, despite 24/7 wear, which bodes well for making it through the week. My old Chinese metal device was good for about 3 days before chafing became unbearable. but the chafing showed up after a couple of days. This device seems to just sit their happily... which is a little scary.
Last night, I though 24 hours of wear was an achievement, especially given I met up with friends while wearing it. Xena for some reason said it wouldn't be an achievement until I reached 36. (She likes the device better without the padlock, but I sense she prefers the look of the HT2).

Second Custom Chastity prototype video arrives

The new Custom Chastity prototype is on its way!  (Take a look at my review of the last prototype.)

In the mean time Lady Fox has sent me a video of what it looks like. (behind the cut in case you're on mobile.)

As you can see, this new one has considerably less headroom than the last one. Lady Fox says she usually gets things right first time. The issue is that my crown isn't particularly pronounced when hard, so we're doing another round of design.

It's the first time I've ever sent dick pics to anybody. But Lady Fox is matter-of-fact and professional in her communications. It's not much different from dealing with a doctor or surgeon. It also helps we're not every in the same room (or continent).

It's not the fastest process, and the season is slowing things up. However, if I were paying for this, I'd be more than happy since I'm guaranteed to get something that really fits at the end of it all. I'm essentially buying a semi-permanent body extension -- it's worth treating that process with respect.

Oh, and - by the way - the whole device is not as short as it looks!

The cage and ring don't overlap so you have to add gap and ring thickness. I'm not that tiny, honest...

That lack of overlap looks like a flashback to the 2000s. However it has major advantages because any sort of rear projection or beak creates leverage when you move around.

Up to this point I took it for granted. Shifts in position could displace my dick. However, I discovered that the last prototype remained snug and in position even when I went on my hands and knees.

I'm now looking forward to trying less headroom. With my other devices, when particularly flaccid, my dick would heave my head up to nudge the top of the headroom. Then when I got hard, get awkwardly stuck.

It's a shower-friendly cage but with lovely comfortable flat bars.

It looks painfully short compared to the smaller HT2! However that one is at least 5mm too long for me, and this one doesn't overlap the base ring. So this should be a precise and snug fit - something I've never really experienced.

My dick should lie naturally, bent over and tucked into the end. The bulge is for my crown when I'm hard, but will my dick float up into it when soft? If it does, I should be able to prod it back into place through the bars. We'll see...

Ordering a Custom Chastity 3D Printed Chastity Device! (Includes video)

I'm in the middle of the process of getting a personalised - i.e. truly customized - male chastity device from Custom Chastity.

Yes, I still like my Holy Trainer 2. It's a nice looking design and comfortable to wear. The "magic locker" gives it that hi-tech feel. Customer service is good if there are problems. However, now I've had it for more six months over the year mark, my original enthusiasm, has been tempered by three issues:

• I don't really trust the HT2 not to eventually fall apart. The locking post is a weak point, and the bioresin gets soft when warm -- it's not clear whether it will fatigue given another 18 months of continuous wear. 
• It's a tube not a cage, so showering is problematic (though not impossible), making 24/7 wear hard. 
• Also, since it's a cage, I can't easily see if I'm lined up for peeing, a problem with wearing out and about.

The HT2 is still one of the best of the established devices. I'm sure it's brilliant if you don't want to wear semi-24/7 like I do. I suspect the Holy Trainer 3 will be an improvement. However, in the mean time I've been looking for a back up or replacement male chastity device that I can wear 24/7.

Other options I considered

I considered, then rejected, various silicon devices because of hygiene and haven't bothered with the CB-X range because of stories of them splitting.

I actually tried the Key Holder  Dream (KHD3) 3D printed chastity device, but didn't get on with the small peehole, plus the wide base ring has issues for everyday wear. There are also doubts about the material for 24/7, since it is slightly porous.  Ultimately, the KHD range as they stand are nice cheap starter devices, far better than the Chinese imports on Ebay. They should be fine if you put them through the dishwasher regularly, but they are not quite right for my anatomy or needs. (Though, I look forward to future KHD offerings, since they are always creative.)

Then along came Custom Chastity - Lady Fox dropped by to say how much she liked my vanilla-to-femdom books.

They're a husband and wife team in an FLR like us, and Lady Fox is a 3D designer. End result is 3D printed devices made of surgical nylon, definitely safe for long-term wear - they make prosthetics out of this stuff! - and routinely customisable, hence the name.

They seemed very confident in their products, so I cheekily asked them for a device to review.

Lady Fox said yes and suggested, since I was unsure about the head configuration, that I go for a real custom design. So suddenly I'm getting this deluxe treatment! (The basic devices come in a range of sizes and are about the price of a HT2. The custom ones start at double that.)

We did careful measurements and discussed the design. Then Lady Fox sent me a video of what the device will look like:

My response was, "It looks OK... I guess..." 

I mean, how can I tell by just looking? It all depends on whether my head tucks into the end properly.

"Don't worry", replied Lady Fox, "I'm sending you the resin prototype."

Yes, that's right. They actually send you a disposable resin version so you can see if it really fits. That takes some of the risk out of spending the money. It also means you won't have to mess around posting a device back for fixing and tweaking.

Will my Custom Chastity device be any good?

Will it fit? I have no idea if this version will fit. It doesn't matter as long as a version eventually fits and I'm fairly sure it will - Lady Fox seems to know what she's doing.

Will the final 3D printed result be any good? The reviews on their site seem promising, though I can't seem to find any anywhere else - which is also positive since nobody is being mean about them online either.

I'm certainly looking forward to finding out...
